Aaron's Lawn Gnome
Gnome on the run! Aaron's lawn gnome, that is. Here he is stumbling upon a magical town full of gnomes in Minnesota:
I continued walking West today and stumbled upon a town called Dawson. What happened after that isn't all that clear to me. I just know that I don't remember the last time I was so excited. It must have been such an overwhelming experience that my brain doesn't know how to categorize what I went through today. Simply put, I met a town full of gnomes!
Read more about this crazy tale on Aaron's blog.

Minnie Indie #1
In case you don't know, Steve Barone is like the sweetest dude evar. He's in this genius thing called The Hawaii Show, and was shredmaster in Lifter Puller, and like The Hold Steady probably wouldn't even exist without him, right? Also, he's the mashed potato wrestling champion of the world.
Anyway, he has this crazy new local music/whatevs show called Minnie Indie. The latest show has a wicked Uptown bar fight, but I thought we should check out the show that started it all - #1, cuz that's Steve Barone's soul number.

Donkey Baseball
This is no joke, people. Welcome to rural Minnesota, home of milking contests and real live donkey baseball!
Duane Kuss writes:
Have you ever heard of Donkey Baseball before? There's a pitcher and a batter just like in the big leagues... but that's about as far as the normal game goes. Imagine playing a baseball game where in order to make your way around the bases you'd have to be riding a donkey. Imagine being in the outfield and finding the only way you can pass the ball from one player to another is by siting or riding a donkey. Then add to all this the personality of each of the donkeys and you have some of the most hilarious and funny video footage you have ever watched.

Hello eager vlog-beavers! Thanks for being patient with only 2 videos last week. We're back and ready to kick it Minnesota style with a whole lotta milk squirting into a bucket.

Nibbles the Duck
Do not be confused, video wanderer! This isn't Dan and Jen's Animal Friends—though they've got plenty of gosling and duck action on their vlog. This is a random duck encounter at the end of Art-A-Whirl. An Indian Runner to be more specific, a breed I'd never heard of, very much resembling a bowling pin.
Somewhat disturbingly, you can buy eggs on eBay and try hatching your own Indian Runner ducks. That's what the woman in this video did, intending to give the ducks to her dad. Sadly, only one hatched. I've seen how UPS packers throw boxes into a truck, so I can't imagine it's easy for them to survive. That's why Nibbles is a miracle duck!

I Told You Not to Tell Anyone
Did you watch the Oscars? Brokeback Mountain got the shaft in my opinion. I should say I'm highly qualified to speak on the subject of moving picture arts, what you might call "film." I offer you Exhibit A. Though it was made in only 24 hours, you could spend a lifetime peeling away it's multitudinous psychological layers and paridoxes, like... like... some sort of paridoxical onion.

Mooki's Kleenex Box
This has been a long time coming. Our beloved Bengal kitten, Mooki, now has his own vlog: MookiTV.com. Cat vlogging is clearly the wave of the future! Check out Josh Leo's excellent Vlog Cats and David's Sphynx videos for more proof.
One of Mooki's many funny little talents is jumping through kleenex boxes. He also enjoys scooting around in long skinny Mountain Dew boxes, and of course bags of all shapes and sizes. We'll sure keep you updated on his tiny trials and tribulations, on a sporadic basis. This video was a collaboration with Lorika. Vloggers are poppin' up all around Minnesota. Perhaps a sign of early spring? More likely people are discovering the joys of freevlog.org and blip.tv.
Today's video is a bit of critter tomfoolery from Dan and Jen's Animal Friends. Their hedgehog, Spike, acts an awful lot like a kitten. Speaking of kittens - I hope you don't hate them, because we've got a few feline videos in the pipeline. Don't worry, they're entertaining. And you don't have to watch them all at once.
